The smallest standard self-storage unit is the 5×5 — 25 sqft, ~200 cubic feet at an 8 ft ceiling. There is no standard 2×5, 3×5 or 4×5 — a 2×5 or 3×5 is locker-sized (you get a locker where offered, otherwise a 5×5), and a 4×5 rounds straight to a 5×5. A 10×5 is just a 5×10 (50 sqft) and a 15×5 is just a 5×15 (75 sqft), both written width-first. 5×12 is not a standard size — you will be quoted a 5×10 or 5×15. Only 5×5, 5×10 and 5×15 are distinct walk-in units in this range.

What holds structurally is that each step up adds floor area but usually costs less per square foot, so a 5×10 is not double the price of a 5×5.
